History, research and development

CRYOTEC Company was created by two science specialists of the General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in May 1996; its main office is located in the building of the Institute.

Company's employees? long-term scientific experience in the field of low temperature physics and cryogenic technology became a basis of the Cryotec activity in development, manufacturing and realization of cryogenic and micro cryogenic equipment and technologies for medicine, industry, science and agriculture.

We believe that reputation of the company is its key advantage and is created for many long years. We create our own reputation steadily and solidly grounded.

However we work on-the-fly solving tasks and problems, introduced by our customers and as well as by market.

Presently 30 highly skilled specialists work in Cryotec Company on regular basis. If necessary we involve experts for participation in various projects on time basis.

The physic scientists and engineers in the field of cryogenic technology, which have large experience in engineering and design, occupy the key positions in the company. Development and production of small series of the high technology and high effective cryogenic technical equipment in short terms is the base of Cryotec activity.

We are proud that we are one of two companies in Europe, who own technical know-how for manufacturing firstly the automatic systems for dose injection of liquid nitrogen (LINinject (R)) into the polyethylene and aluminum containers and secondly the containers in the production lines of pouring and packing of food and household chemical products in order to create overpressure and inert atmosphere.

Cryotec is the only company in Russia, which manufactures serially the portable medical cryogenic surgical devices with vacuum insulation that works with liquid nitrogen. For their production we use high-quality and environmentally sound materials (stainless steel, copper, nickel, polytetrafluoroethylene, silicone, etc.). Cryogenic device "CryoIney" has received the bronze medal and the diploma of the Geneva Invention Show in 1998.

Development of the cryogenic smoke generator for music venues, discos, theatrical performances and shows, which does not have analogues in the world, is finished and the pilot model will be manufactured and tested in 2011. All our developments and inventions are protected by the patents of the Russian Federation and PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty).

In April, 2010, Cryotec Company has received the license of RosCosmos for development, manufacturing and delivery of the cryogenic technical equipment and technologies for the International Cosmos Station.

In 2010 the company passed the ISO-9000 certification procedure.

Since 2000 Cryotec is the exclusive distributor of the German company Crio Medizintechnik GmbH in Eastern Europe which is a part of Linde Gas Therapeutics GmbH since 2005 - a subsidiary of the largest cryogenic and gas technology company Linde Group Russia. Linde Gas Therapeutics GmbH is an assignee of Crio Medizintechnik GmbH and produces the unique medical systems CryoSpace and CryoJet for general and local air cryotherapy.

We also are the distributor of such well known European companies as VRV (Italy), Cryo Diffusion (France), Consarctic (Germany), Innovag AG (Germany), Airsonett (Sweden), H&O Equipments (Belgium), Askion (Germany), manufacturing the cryogenic containers and gasificators, equipment for cryobanks - cryostorages, program freezers, Dewar vessels, snow rooms and many others.

Cryotec is the first company in Moscow which has organized liquid nitrogen sale in "small packages" such as Dewar vessels in volumes of 6 and 16 liters with delivery to the customers within Moscow. Now more than 850 our regular customers use this service.

We support constant business contacts with the medical institutions all over the Russia including Presidential Property Management Department of the Russian Federation, RF FSO, Military and Medical Department of Federal Security Service of Russia, Medical Center of Central Bank of Russian Federation, and others, and also with the leading centers and experts in the field of physiotherapy, rehabilitation, pulmonology, sport medicine, cryoconservation.

Our regular clients are more than 1000 large and small companies, plants and enterprises in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other regions of Russia and CIS countries. During existence of the company we have completed more than 60000 orders for liquid nitrogen and more than 7000 orders for equipment.

Cryotec provides all clients with guarantee and post-warranty services, full set of documentation in Russian, assists in technique training.
